About Me
Hi! I'm Mylene Marlin. I graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism. My passion lies in storytelling, connecting with audiences, and delivering through the lens of Broadcast Journalism. I am now seeking an opportunity to contribute my creativity and adaptability to the newsroom as a Broadcast Journalist.

Education
I graduated from Temple University and had a blast gaining knowledge on what it takes to become a journalist! At Temple University I learned about the ins and outs of this field. From my classes like Broadcast Performance where we went into full detail on how to articulate our words and be news anchors, to my Owl Sports Update Class where I worked on a live show gathering news about Temple's sports teams, Temple equipped me with a lot to excel in this field.
Work Experience

Girl Scouts Internship
Working with the Girl Scouts was a pleasure! Here I was a videography intern and recorded the Girl Scouts journey of getting their Gold Badges and doing community service work
Owl Sports Update
Working in a news room with my peers in the classroom broadened my horizons to how important is to have organization and structure in a newsroom. I went out and reported on all of Temple's Athletic Teams, acknowledging their hard work on and off the field.
Philadelphia Neighborhoods
In this class I was able to report and write articles on Philadelphia's community. I went to local black owned bake shops, and eateries to interview owners and why they decided to open their establishments. It was a great experience indulging in the food atmosphere of Philadelphia.
